  it seems to me that with the congregation merging and sell-off that's going on, there are going to be 4 maybe 5 congregations sharing some khs.

  I don't think so...there are too many factors that signal to them that indeed they are in for some difficult years ahead. This cult is dealing with too many emergency-like situations to think otherwise. The pedophile/child molester dilemma is not going away any time soon. There is the forever problem of very low meeting attendance on the part of baptized rank and file...add to that the very low number of new outside converts. The list is endless of predicaments this organization is dealing with to think they aren't worried about their own future. What we here on this forum need to do is sit tight...be patient...there are too many cracks in the dam's wall of this cult...there are only soo many "winters" this organization can deal with before it floods over!

  just got a phone call this morning from a very upset anointed brother.

  he said he didn't believe me when i told him about the pedo problem and selling off of halls.

  he said he was disgusted with the watchtower and had to go to a special meeting last night.

  Ordinarily...a business that is floundering, downsizes first and if that doesn't help then it operates with a skeleton crew. I really don't mind if WT after downsizing fails... morphs into a skeleton...it would be a good fit!🤣

  jehovah's witnesses are appealing to the supreme court of the united states, but this time it has nothing to do with preaching or saluting the flag.. it's all about child abuse.. specifically, the protection (or cover-up) of information, documents, and testimony of persons involved in cases of child abuse.. i will be covering this story in the coming weeks and months, but i thought i would share some of this news and try to distill it down as simply as i can.. i'd like to point out first that watchower has appealed to the supreme court in connection with their loss of yet another california child abuse case.

  the chance that watchtower's appeal being will be heard by the supreme court is slim, but anything is possible.. what brought this about?.

  The recruiting work of Jehovah's Witnesses has never been very effective. Such low positive results for such great efforts. But the members are paying the gas money and expending the hours, so Watchtower is not really losing out.

  Don't forget the loss of revenue in the lives of each and every JW...year after year after year. Time preparing for going to meetings...time wasted while at the meetings...time preparing for field service...time wasted while in field service...time wasted and money spent going to and from circuit assemblies & regional conventions...time wasted working on Kingdom Hall building projects...time wasted in the Bethel lifestyle...etc...etc...etc.

  In reality the average JW may be spending 75 to 100 of unproductive hours and more each and every month as a Jehovah's Witness...that's nearly 1,200 hours yearly of what could otherwise be tme spent earning revenue/income. Last I heard minimum wage in the U.S.A. was going up to $15 an hour...1,200 hrs X $15/hrs = $18,000 of lost annual revenue/income for those who make minimum wage alone...$18,000 of lost revenue/income year after year after year adds up...in ten years that's $180,000...in 20 years that's $360,000. Any wonder why many if not most senior retiring Jehovah's Witnesses are not prepared for old age!

  There they go again with that word Exemplary in the New Features letter regarding My Profile:

  Exemplary baptized publishers who are interested in submitting an application for expanded theocratic service are encouraged to fill out their "My Profile".

  Exemplary means worthy, honorable & virtuous among other things. The opposite of exemplary is bad, dishonorable, unworthy & poor among other unflattering words.

  My question is...of the 8.5 million JWs ...how many are exemplary and how many are of the unflattering/unfavorable type? Why make the distinction? Me would say exemplary and Jehovah's Witnesses don't belong in the same sentence! There's no such thing as an exemplary cult member in such a destructive religion!
